    @retrobiz11 I’ve read that when they school like that, they drop their defensive awareness, probably an intraschool competition as they feed on crabs, etc. I cast a fly crab pattern into a school zzz9yhey call it a pod) down in Port Aransas, TX and experienced the same fight. He was pulling me and my kayak down the channel. Whata rush!

    Nothing like catching reds on a fly rod. And it looks like these guides get you right on the pods (schools), so ultra long casts not required. Gotta say this is one of my favorite videos.
