The redfish. Need I say more.
that is a great fish
This is a freaken awesome video. Just hope the oil spill didn’t screw everything up forever.
@retrobiz11 I’ve read that when they school like that, they drop their defensive awareness, probably an intraschool competition as they feed on crabs, etc. I cast a fly crab pattern into a school zzz9yhey call it a pod) down in Port Aransas, TX and experienced the same fight. He was pulling me and my kayak down the channel. Whata rush!
every fish is about 10 feet from the boat you are just barely maling a cast. how do those fish not see you?
nice fish awesome!

Rich Waldner is the man! He gets you to the fish and shows you how to get that fly just right.
@judeisawsum321 I would like to see you pole to a pod of tailing reds and cast to them without spooking them…..but thats just me
Awesome
three big ones and about 5 rat reds. but thats just me
Nothing like catching reds on a fly rod. And it looks like these guides get you right on the pods (schools), so ultra long casts not required. Gotta say this is one of my favorite videos.
Did you catch anything?
sun protection…
Who fight best, the sea run trout or those red fish?
idk but a guess could be sunburn…but honestly i have no clue
why do you wear those face mask? I see that its only saltwater fly fishing
Went Fishing with Rich. Absolutely the best trip I have had. First time Redfishin and I got 12!!! A foot and a foot for that spoon fly!
